As families outgrow their surroundings there may come a time to make the decision to move into a larger home or simply add a home addition to their existing house. Here we show a New Addition for one of your Baton Rouge Neighbors.  This first image above is of a 30 foot overhead view of the completed home addition where you can see the seamless connection of the original structure and the new building.   And the following captures the completed window wall of the home office. The façade was completed using cement siding and painted with premium enamel.

Here we have the view of the entrance of the new brick entry wall into the rear yard where the home addition was built.

Now we go inside this New Addition to show the Bedroom.  The floors were completed with a 6″ glue down hardwood.  This bedroom is also unique in its style by completing the ceiling framing with a half vault. Multiple windows were added to allow maximum light into the space.

Now we move to the Office as part of the Home Addition.  You can see the vaulted ceiling with was framed to a 10/12 pitch to allow maximum height for the completion of the window wall.   Look at the spectacular view from the office window facing the lake on the property. This room was designed to mimic a glass wall you would find in the a mountain cabin. Each frame of glass was custom made for this particular wall.
